Right out the window. Hmpf!

Yoo Hoo.... Helloo.... :) Yes it's me. Finally back after a long hiatus.

Well whodda thunk it - Remember a couple of stories ago when I told you that "it came to me" to open the front door while yelling at the Shadow People to get out? Apparently, according to Lydia, that was my Guides 'talking' to me. I know right??  Wow - Really...hmmm.

So here is the scoop, and I can't hardly wait to share it, in case this is happening to you.  Lydia said that the next time I even have an inkling that the Shadow People (or anything/anyone else that feels threatening to me) are around, I need to open all the windows; doors and say firmly - out loud:

"Get out now! - You are not wanted here - You do not have my permission to enter"

While saying this stretch out your arm and point to a door/window or whatever you have open.

This information was outright amazing to me, especially since I somehow (haha-right) instinctively knew to do just that a few days ago.... well sorta/kinda :)

Honestly speaking, I was so stoked that I could barely wait to try this out. Sounds crazy I know - who in their right mind would want the Shadow People to stop by. Geeesh

Creator?.. Guides?...

Apparently Lydia was an Intuitive, had been throughout her entire life, but it wasn't something she shared with everyone including my mom.  After I finished pouring forth my story, Lydia looked at me and said "..by the grace of the Creator and your Guides, you have not gone insane.." - Uhm what? Creator? Guides? what was she talking about.

One would think that after all this time I would have turned on a computer and 'googled' what was happening to me, but let me tell you.. back in 'the day' that really wasn't an option, plus it never even occurred to me :)

Anyway, seeing my puzzled look, Lydia went on to explain about the 'Creator' and 'Guides' from her point of view. Wow what a relief I felt to 'know' that I wasn't alone and there were spiritual beings looking after me from above. Of course I knew that Salamander had always been with me, I just didn't know that there were others or that 'they' were called 'Guides'.

Stay tuned for how Lydia helped to 'set me free'...

Lydia to the rescue ...

Thank the Creator that was the only time one of 'Them' ever appeared next to me in bed. I just want to take a moment and interject here, for those of you who found my last posting a little hard to believe, that the Shadow beings can take on any form they wish - trust me on this xxx..
Moving on, even though they chose not to climb into bed with me again, they sure as heck didn't leave :(. Night after night they showed up, in one way or another. Sometimes there would be that familiar pressure on my chest along with the inability to move; other-times they would just lurk around in the shadows watching me, both inside and outside of the house. I couldn't sleep, eat or function like a 'normal' person. I was basically walking around like one of those Zombies you see in a horror movie. This went on for what seemed like month's but honestly, I don't really remember how long (too long that's for sure...)
Then one fine, sunny day I ventured out to have lunch with my mom and her best friend, Lydia. We were sitting outside, safely tucked underneath an umbrella, at one of the hotels along the beach. By this time I was pretty much beside myself and at the earliest opportunity, let all my pent up frustration spill out. Right then and there came pouring forth everything that had happened to me over the last few months. Don't get me wrong, I had mentioned some of this to my mom along the way but she pretty much said that it was all 'in my head'. Today that didn't matter, I just had to get it out... and I know that You know what I mean.
After I was finally finished there was complete silence from both my mom and Lydia; but then, to my total and utter amazement, Lydia said she not only believed me but had experienced similar happenings as well. WOW....

Up close and Personal

Yes it's been a long time since I've posted. Lot's has happened in my life, some good and some not such much... but that's a story for another day.
So let's move on to my next experience with the Shadow people and let me just say right now it was up close and personal. It happened on a Saturday night, Lucy and I were just chilling at home watching a movie, well I was chilling and Lucy was napping :). Around 11:00 pm or so I felt tired enough to crawl into bed, lay my head down for some much needed sleep. As was my habit of late, I turned my night lamp on which somehow brought me comfort ( I know lol, don't ask). It was a short while into my sleep when I awoke with a start. You know the one where you just wake up out of a dead sleep and know something is wrong? I opened my eyes and the first thing I noticed was that the night lamp was no longer on. Hmmm. Then slowly, very slowly I rolled onto my back and started looking around my bedroom with my eyes only, afraid to move my head.
I mostly slept on the right side of the bed in a fetal position, very close to the edge I might add. So having scoped out the right side of the room my eyes now moved to the left. Thankfully the moon was very bright and it illuminated the room enough for me to see pretty clearly.
Anyway, since I could only see so far by only moving my eyes, I now also slowly turned my head to the left and what I saw next to me was so terrifying that a scream was stuck frozen in my throat. There beside laying on the bed, was a large built man with wavy red hair, long beard and pointy teeth. He was on his right side, facing me and grinning. Since my only bedroom window was located directly behind him the light from the moon gave me a clear view of his being.
Once I recovered from my fright, I started screaming at the top of my lungs while scrambling out of the bed as fast as I could.  I didn't run out of the house, which would have been a 'normal' response, Noooo - Instead I stood at the end of the bed yelling at this 'being' to "get the f***k out of my house, you are not wanted here and you need to leave...". He didn't move, just kept that stupid grin on his face and looked me straight in my eyes. By now my fright had turned to anger, I was shaking I was so pissed off. I kept on yelling for him to "get the f***k out now..." pointing with an outstretched arm and forefinger towards the front door.
All of a sudden I heard a 'voice in my head' tell me that I need to go and open the front door. Without questioning this I sprinted to the door, flung it wide open, ran back in the bedroom, looked at the bed to start yelling at him again but... he was gone. Just like that....

They're Baaaack :(....

Andrew and I were married for about 5 years when he came home one day, threw his house keys down on our coffee table and stated “I've found myself a place to rent- I’m leaving”. Uhh okay- what does one say to a statement like that… So he moved out and since I couldn't afford our house by myself, I had to find a new place to live. I don’t know about You but me, as a Cancerian, my home is hugely important to me; not so much where I live but the space that I live in. It’s my Sanctuary, a place where I surround myself with little things I love, a place where I want to come home to… if you know what I mean :0). I was sad to leave our beautiful place on the waterway but at the same time, I was looking forward to a “new beginning” of sorts.
No, I’m not going into the reasons why our marriage didn't last… It wasn't “one” particular thing, just many little ones combined. So moving on with my story…  I found this adorable 2 bedroom, wooden house located in a small beach community. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. The house was nestled among trees and sort of hidden on a side street.  The little back porch was surrounded by palm trees and shrubs so it had sort of a “jungle” feel. And the inside, oh my gosh, was just gorgeous… with wooden floors, an open living room that had 2 huge doors leading into the master bedroom, lot’s of windows overlooking the “jungle” and old fashioned wooden blinds that came three quarters of the way up the windows. I was in heaven that I had found such a cool place to live.
What was really sad though is that Mickey, our dog, missed my husband very much and it broke my heart how he was always looking at the door- listening to every car coming down the street – just hoping that Andrew would come walking in. With much regret I decided to let Mickey go live with Andrew :( so now it was just me, myself and I. Well for a little while anyway until I adopted a feral kitten off the street. I named her Lucy and when I would come home from work I would say… wait for it lol… You guessed it “Lucy I’m Home” (said with a Ricky Ricardo like accent :0).
Lucy and I settled into our new home and it was a couple of months or so before I got a “feeling” that something just wasn't quite right… Hmmm, you know that feeling I’m talking about, the one where you come walking into your house and you just know that you are not alone. It soon became apparent that “they” were back and, unbeknownst to me, had moved in when I wasn't looking.
The first attack happened one night when I fell asleep in my bed while reading a book.  I woke up with a start when I felt pressure on my chest. At first I thought that Lucy may have come to lay on me - I looked down and nope, no Lucy. My little bedroom lamp was still on so I could see the surroundings and although I didn't see anything, I sure as heck could “feel” them. They felt like a dark, heavy, evil presence… it’s difficult to describe and unless this has happened to you, perhaps even more difficult to comprehend.
The pressure on my chest increased and now I felt invisible hands closing around my throat. I opened my mouth to scream but only a croaking sound escaped my lips. I heard soft, evil whispers… “we are coming for you mwuahahaha..” and with that, as suddenly as They had come – They were gone. That was just a minor incident in what would become the most horrifying couple of years in my life.

Outside our Bedroom Window

Andrew and I got married. We found this great house for rent on an inland waterway. I loved most everything about that place except for the huge, old sliding glass doors that led to our enclosed porch. These doors didn't close all the way and in the summer time the air-conditioning would go right “out the door” so to speak :). Living in Florida that was not beneficial to keeping your home cool or the electric bill low. I didn't really know the history of this home, only that the owner was deceased. That’s about it.
The bedroom that we slept in was right off the living room. Some night’s I went to bed earlier than Andrew and on this particular one my sleep was restless. I was dozing in and out for while when all of a sudden I heard noises outside one of our bedroom windows – the one right by my head. This house was not located on a busy street and our bedroom did not face the sidewalk, so to hear a noise that close - someone would have had to walk up deliberately to that window.
The noises turned into sounds of “people” whispering. I thought “what the heck” and craned my neck to peer outside, into the darkness. I didn't see anything. The whispering increased in sound to where I could hear them speak- to me – “we’re coming to get you and we will find a way in”. I could hear them “walking” up and down the side of the house.. up and down… up and down… all the while whispering loudly as they passed by my window. I was getting scared, very scared. Now they were arguing with each other as to who would be the first to enter.
I was frozen, not literally this time, in bed - scooting into the middle so they couldn't see me. Thoughts raced in my head… “no this can’t be real- I don’t see anything.. but what if there was real people out there??.. what if they somehow got inside and hurt us??... I need to do something- Now!”. So, quiet as a church mouse, I slid down to the foot of the bed- under the covers just in case. I crawled out from the sheets onto the floor. “Quiet- I must be very quiet”. Slowly, very slowly I inched my way along the floor toward our bedroom door. I could still hear them walking but they were no longer whispering, they were talking loudly now – not afraid of being heard.
Once I reached the door I opened it gently, light flooded the room from the glare of the tv. I quickly slid into the living room, like a snake, then stood up and ran to Andrew – who was asleep on the couch. I shook him awake and said “there are people outside of our house and we need to call the police – now- right now!” He came instantly awake and so did our dog, Micky. The both got up and headed through our kitchen into the garage and to the side door… me trailing behind saying “no- you can’t go out there – let’s just call the police”. To no avail, they were not listening to me.
On his way out Andrew grabbed something in the garage, I believe it was a tire iron but I’m not sure. He swung open the side door that led directly to where they were walking, with purpose he stepped outside – Micky right on his trail.
He looked to the right, the left – nothing – no one was there. Micky started to growl and moved toward our bedroom window, Andrew followed behind. They walked the perimeter of our house, nothing – no one – not a sound to be heard.
But They were still there, I could feel them staring at me through the darkness.
     The Shadow People had returned...

Once Upon a Time.....

Alright, waiting on inspiration from my Guides didn't work :0) So I guess I’ll start from the beginning.. No - Not that far back Silly. Yes, that’s a photo of Me – Debz. Not sure when that was taken since I have the most difficult time... well telling Time :0). But that’s another story, for another day.
I was raised in Germany by my Oma and Opa.  Yes, I had a mom and dad but they figured that this was a better place for me, and they were right. Just Sayin’ lol. Growing up back in “those” days one was either Catholic or Protestant and I was Catholic.  My Grandparent’s weren't religious fanatics but they thought it was important for me to attend services on Sundays. So my Oma would dress me up in the only dress I had, buckle up my shoes and off we went. Opa never came… that was his time to go “see the horses”. No, lol we didn't have a farm that was just slang for going to the off track Horse Betting Parlor.
I loved the Church itself. It was so beautiful with the tall, stained glass windows depicting scenes from the bible. When the sun shone through the whole church would light up in different colors. Rainbow Colors.  I also loved to sing, didn't matter what - just as long as I was singing. As for the priest and his sermons, I just remember them both scaring the heck out of me.
My experiences with the Nuns and Priests were not pleasant ones by far. The first Kindergarten I went to was run by the Nuns, in a building next to the beautiful church. I was there for 3 days before they kicked me out for playing with other kids toys while they slept. We were pretty poor, so seeing all those toys I felt an overwhelming urge to play… What kid wouldn't :0). So much for compassionate Nuns... Uhh  Not.
One of our mandatory classes in school was Religion and it was taught by a local Priest. I don’t remember his name but what he did to me is still vivid in my memory today and NO it wasn't sexual abuse. For some reason, unbeknownst to me, he just plain didn't like me. Perhaps because I was poor. During every class he would call me up to the front of the room for... well just about anything and tell me what a bad child I was, then make me hold out my hands so that he could hit them with his ruler. And not lightly, I might add.  Well that was my introduction to the German Nuns and Priest. Needless to say, they both scared the heck out of me lol.
